Application design and development
Business Integrations works with a wide range of technologies, although with a strong leaning
toward Microsoft products. From our experience of the SME marketplace there is often an existing license
Microsoft base as well as in house skills and it make sense to work with this.
Open Source solutions are also attractive solutions and we are able to provide PHP and MySQL skills to
take advantage of these as well. It is worth noting that there are Open Source and community
editions of many applications utilising Microsoft technologies as well as non Microsoft technologies.
Databases
- SQL Server 2005 and 2008
- Oracle 9 - 11
- MySQL 5
Web applications
A web application can vary from a simple brochure site to a complex data driven application replacing
a Windows application. In the age of Web 2.0
many sites now use community feature such as forums, blogs and wikis to enable
content sharing. Business Integrations is able to iensure that the best
solution for these features is picked for your web application and to integrate
it seamlessly.
Many companies already use Microsoft SharePoint Services (either Windows SharePoint Services or Office
SharePoint Server) within their business. This is a powerful tool for
collaboration within a company and with thrid parties, but is not best designed
for web content management. However this can be integrated with a number
of content management systems to enable staff to create and publish documents
using SharePoint that can then be published to the web site using the chosen
content management system.
Business Integrations can build web applications for your businesses using:
- ASP.NET 3.5, HTML and CSS
- Content management using commercial, Open Source or custom solutions
- SEO optimisation
- Web hosting is available on request
Windows applications
Windows applications are designed and built utilising the Microsoft .NET framework. We can work
with either version 2.0 for legacy systems or 3.5 for current systems. We are currently evaluating .NET
framework 4 and Visual Studio 2010 to enable the benefits to be extended to our clients as soon as possible.
